Communication Applications

(SPEECH)

OBJECTIVE:  Students will be expected to identify, analyze, develop, and evaluate communication skills needed for professional and social success in interpersonal situations, group interactions, and personal and professional presentations.

Ø  Oral Presentations


CLASS GUIDELINES:

v  All MVISD policies with regard to attendance, tardies, and discipline will be enforced.

v  It is your responsibility to find out and complete missed assignments (notes & missed handouts may be collected by a fellow student).

v  No food, drinks, or gum allowed in class.

v  Come to class prepared.


REQUIREMENTS:

ü  Reading (as assigned).

ü  Discussion and Oral Presentations.

ü  Group Work.

ü  Writing and Research (as assigned).


GRADING:

·         As assigned according to the MVISD Point System

o   Daily Work/Homework (25%)

o   Tests/Quizzes (35%)

o   Projects/Presentations (40%)
